ative of Argentina, Marcos Mendosa was only three years old in 1987 when his family moved to Toronto, Canada in a pursuit of a better life. With his four uncles playing in a police community band and four cousins playing sax, trumpet, drums, and guitar, Mendosa had a music bug implanted early. In his teenage, Mendosa’s numerous and elaborate diary entries and personal notes started taking shape of hip-hop lyrics.

Matching rhythm of his own words to the rhythm of the beats soon became a true passion for Marcos. As he puts it:
” it was the only way that I could express how I truly felt about my everyday life.  It wasn’t my goal to be a musician, or an artist, or a writer. It was just something that I did because I felt it was hard for me to communicate with others.”
